1. Where is BlueHawk AeroSpace in its development cycle?

We are an early stage, pre-funding startup with big dreams and ambitions.  We are in the process of putting together a group of like minded individuals, companies and organizations that believe Australia needs its own sovereign rocket launch capability.

2. Has BlueHawk AeroSpace received any funding or investment?

No, all money that has been invested to date has been in the form of volunteer time and personal monetary contributions.  We will approach investors at the time we feel we have a proposal and concept that aligns with our vision and goals.

3. What roles are you trying to fill?

We are open to all offers of assistance.  As the details of the development will continue to evolve more positions will become available.  At the present moment we need the following:

  • Space Policy and Regulation Expert

  • Aeronautical Engineers

  • Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Hydraulic and others)

  • Town Planners

  • Lawyers

  • Financial Management

4. Has a final development location been secured?

The final location of the development has not been decided, but a handful of options are currently under consideration.  These option will only be revealed to a small inner circle until the property rights has been secured.  For the purpose of progress, all these options are either on the east coast of Australia or in rural areas away from major human settlements, north of the 20 Degree Latitude.

4. Who will be the primary launch provider?

This decision is still open for discussion.  Ultimately we would prefer one of the current leaders such as SpaceX, Blue Origin, ESA or ISRO to take the primary and secondary launch locations.
